Southminster hosted students from Quail Hollow Middle School this morning for a Fundraising Breakfast to help the school raise money for The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The school adopted JDRF as its charity organization for the year. Students participated in the JDRF City Walk earlier this month, and will also do an on-campus walk with residents and staff on Tuesday, April 29th. The events are part of Southminster’s outreach to the community, and both students and residents enjoy and benefit from the inter-generational interaction.
