On Wednesday, June 11th, Chef Kris and our culinary team won awards for “Best Entrée” and “Best Dessert” in “Chef Wars,” an annual competition sponsored by the Shepherd’s Center of Charlotte. The Shepherd’s Center offers continuing education programs and services to seniors. At this event, chefs from area retirement communities compete with their best culinary creations. Local citizens and a panel of area chefs vote for their favorite dishes.
