Southminster Chef David Quintana will be participating in the “Fire in the City” dining competition, which will be held August 18th – September 29th at Bonterra Dining and Wine Room. He will be competing against 16 other local chefs. Each evening two chefs battle it out side-by-side in a single elimination, blind dinner format. Attendees get to savor a six-course menu (three courses from each chef without knowing whose food they are tasting) created around a “mystery” North Carolina ingredient.
