Resident Dr. Ted Lucas is launching a series of genealogy workshops along with the Old Mecklenburg Genealogical Society to help residents discover their family trees. On Tuesday, February 25th, Dr. Lucas and a representative from the Old Mecklenburg Genealogical Society will give an informative presentation on how to begin and enhance family history sleuthing. The session will introduce the basics, as well as point out shortcuts in doing research. For those who want to do more in-depth research, there will be a 4-week series of classes held each Thursday in March in our computer lab.
