Residents of Southminster benefit from convenient access to the Embrace Clinic, an on-site health clinic and wellness resource designed to support everyday health needs. Open Monday-Friday, the Embrace Clinic is staffed by the Wellness Nurse, a licensed registered nurse. Simple clinic services may include weight and blood pressure checks, lab work, wound management and bandaging, and consultations. Some services may have associated fees.
The Wellness Nurse can also accommodate services as directed by a “physician order.” Such services may include minor wound care or surgery follow-up, injections, or other services as directed by resident’s physician.
Southminster has partnered with Curana Health, the largest provider of senior living primary care services in the country. Backed by their innovative technologies and nationwide expertise, Curana Health enables Southminster to provide exceptional primary care to residents of all levels of care.
Additional health related services available to Southminster residents include dentistry and on-site access to specialists in podiatry, audiology and psychiatry.
Southminster’s pharmacy provider is Neil Medical Group, providing comprehensive pharmacy services and clinical support for residents in independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing. Neil Medical also plays an important role in supporting resident and staff wellness through on-site vaccination clinics.
has also facilitated multiple COVID vaccine clinics at Southminster, benefitting our residents and staff tremendously. In addition, Medipack will manage Southminster’s convenience store, The Shoppe. Conveniently located and reminiscent of a small town drug store, The Shoppe carries toiletries, greeting cards, sundries, and over-the-counter medications.
