Embrace Wellness is excited to introduce a Seated Tai Chi class for the New Year! The class is being held on Fridays from 1:15-2:00 p.m in the Aerobics Room. Tai Chi is a mind-body practice that is performed using slow, gentle movements. It can help to increase energy, reduce stress, enhance flexibility, and promote balance. Residents and members of our Wellness Center can also join Southminster’s “Ageless Wonders” for a game of indoor Croquet held regularly in our Great Room. These new programs enhance our current Wellness classes, which include water aerobics, balance, Nia, low impact aerobics, seated stretch, Yoga, Zumba Gold, and strength and stretch.
