A special thanks to Southminster staff who worked so hard last week to serve and protect our residents. Your dedication was greatly appreciated by residents, their families, and your colleagues. A thank you to our residents who were flexible about changed service schedules and menu availability and who were so appreciative of those employees who braved the elements over last week’s treacherous, snowy days. Staff was transporting employees to and from their homes for all 3 shifts over four days. Many staff slept over, some staff worked 12-hour shifts, and others worked double-shifts. Thank you also to our young volunteer dog walkers and the residents who helped their friends with snow removal on sidewalks and cars.
It is times like these that make us all realize how lucky we are to be here at Southminster.
