Note: Price ranges listed are for a wide variety of floor plans. Please ask the marketing office for pricing on specific residences. Cottage residents pay additional for natural gas heat and electricity. All other services are the same as for apartment residents.

ENTRANCE FEE REFUND OPTIONS

Standard Entrance Fee Plan - The Standard Entrance Fee amortizes at 5% per month for 20 months. After 20 months, there is no refund.

50% Refundable Plan - Paying 30% more than the Standard Entrance Fee, the resident or their estate will be entitled to receive at least 50% of the paid Entrance Fee.

90% Refundable Plan - Paying 85% more than the Standard Entrance Fee, the resident or their estate will be entitled to receive at least 90% of the paid Entrance Fee.

Refunds are made when the apartment or cottage is re-occupied.

EXAMPLES

Standard Plan Entrance Fee: $100,000 (no refund after 20 months)

50% Refundable Plan: $100,000 x 1.30* = $130,000 (50% refund = $65,000)

90% Refundable Plan: $100,000 x 1.85* = $185,000 (90% refund = $166,500)

*Percentage is higher for new residents over the age of 85. These plans are not an option for residents over 90.

ADDITIONAL LEVELS OF CARE

Every effort is made to promote independence in the environment best suited to our residents' personal needs. If assistance is required, current residents have priority admission to higher levels of care. Independent residents are entitled to receive 14 health care credit days per year, up to 44 days (ancillary charges may apply).
Magnolia Place Assisted Living $177/day (current residents)
Skilled Nursing Care $265/day (current residents)
Fees shown may be adjusted with a 30-day written notice. Non-residents admitted into the Southminster Health Center will pay an entrance fee and higher per diem rates. Contact the Health Center Admissions Office at 704-551-6800 for details.

• Clean, well-maintained common areas

• Scheduled transportation for shopping

• Scheduled transportation for medical appointments

• Use of all common areas

• Emergency medical response 24 hours daily

• Fourteen “Healthcare” days per person accumulating to 44 days

• Group and individually-tailored health & wellness programs

• Access to short-stay “observation” rooms in the Health Center

• Clinic services (supplies require additional charge)
