Note: Cottage residents pay additional for natural gas heat and electricity. All other services are the same as for apartment residents.

Standard Entrance Fee Plan - A refundable portion of the entrance fee will amortize to Southminster at 5% per month, or portion thereof. At 20 months, there will no longer be a refund.

Optional 50% Refundable Plan - Available at the rate of 1.30 times the Standard Entrance Fee chosen. Amortizes at 5% per month for the first 10 months of residency.

Optional 90% Refundable Plan - Available at the rate of 1.85 times the Standard Entrance Fee chosen. Amortizes at 5% per month for the first 2 months of residency.

Additional Levels of Care

Every effort is made to promote independence in the environment best suited to our residents' personal needs. If assistance is required, independent residents have priority admission to higher levels of care.

Independent residents can receive fourteen "Health Care" days per year. A total of 30 days may be carried over.

*Entrance fee applicable only if admitted directly from the community at large. Southminster's independent residents are not required to pay this entrance fee.

The skilled nursing and Camellia Court entrance fees reflect a current marketing incentive. The standard rates are $10,000 and $25,000 respectively.
